I finished an August Wallhanging last week. I called it "Dog Daze Angel" I really had a lot of fun making this quilt. I'm trying to make a new quilt for every month. QOR ladies suggested Dog Days of Summer when I asked for suggestions. I happened to have a pattern for an Angel Calendar Quilt. This was the August block. I had some trouble with the border. I did everything that I was supposed to.....I measured horizonally across the center, vertically across the center and cut my borders to those measurements, but somehow the border still ruffled. I'm going to take it down, wet it and block it. I'll see if that works.
