Mystery on the Oriental Express

I finished the Mystery quilt I have been working on for a couple of months. Generally, I am happy with the results. I think I could have used a more medium fabric and the pattern would have shown up better, but I just couldn't resist using the gorgeous grey and lt. blue batik for the medium in the quilt. LOL. We are having a thunderstorm right now.....I just love the power of a thunderstorm.

Mystery quilt from on-line Retreat.

This is my quilt from the on-line retreat. I was surprised that I was able to make a quilt in just a few days. The fabric is all from my stash, so I was limited by the yardage needed for the borders. It is BRIGHT! Much different from my normal selections.
